The first time Scott Lunsford offered to hack into a nuclear power station, he was told it would be impossible. There was no way, the plant's owners claimed, that their critical components could be accessed from the Internet. Lunsford, a researcher for IBM's Internet Security Systems, found otherwise.
"It turned out to be one of the easiest penetration tests I'd ever done," he says. "By the first day, we had penetrated the network. Within a week, we were controlling a nuclear power plant. I thought, 'Gosh. This is a big problem.'"

Representing one of the most significant milestones in the race to completely unlock the iPhone, a user has been able to successfully register the device with and make calls on Australia's Telstra network. He's posted a YouTube video demonstration of the semi-unlocked phone in action (sorry, the video is no longer available). The hack was accomplished by modifying the iPhone's default SIM card to be recognized as an AT&T SIM, while actually containing data that allows it to be accepted by Telstra.
The hack is made possible through the use...

I don't claim to understand what kind of people post their private keys and information online - but apparently they use Belarc Advisor which (automatically?) put their information online!
If you need Windows XP serials, just use Google and search for Belarc Advisors and key:

In fact, you can see a lot of other keys, such as Office and other desirable softwares.
SERIOUSLY, wtf, why would what seems like a legitimate company post...

I know Vista was hacked already, but this is the first time that I read that Microsoft came out and admit to it.... this is supposed to be M$'s most secured software, but the activation hack seems easy enough. There was a recent "animated" icon problem (see the video here: http://blogs.chron.com/...ursor.html ) which is quite scary considering that the desktop will EXECUTE a malicious ani file.
Anyway, see the associated link for more details on MS confirming Vista hack, here's...

Disclaimer: This article is for educational and informational purpose only.
By replacing a few of Vista's system files and stopping the activation countdown timer, you can essentially have an activated Vista system without activating Vista.
1. Install Windows Vista Ultimate edition (or other edition) without product key.
2. Windows Vista needs to be applied with 2099-ReArm trick, so that the counter of minutes to no activation required period will not return to normal after reboot. Click on Start Orb button.
3. Select “All...

I really don't understand commongate. You have like three options (message, account, signout).
They should include a theme option or something.... I really dislike the bland white background.
So, I basically viewed their global css and changed everything to "transparent" so your background wallpaper will show up ! Click the link above to personalize your own page!

The solution is surprisingly low-tech: the user simply hit the PrintScreen key. The screen capture feature of the operating system allowed each frame to be digitally captured exactly as it was displayed on-screen. Since it would be impractical to sit around advancing movies frame by frame and hitting PrintScreen all day, a script was used to automate the process. Each frame resulted in a 2 MB image. The computers used were fast enough to capture 30 frames per second, enabling real-time capturing of the movies without dropped frames. For a...
