Motorola RAZR V3i music phone debuts on Cingular
Cingular has finally released Motorola's iTunes-enabled RAZR V3i. The "i" distinction adds not only iTunes synchronization and a dedicated music button, but also a microSD slot for storing all your tracks. The phone also now includes an airplane mode, which lets you crank tunes without the phone's GSM quad-band radio emitting interference. All well and good, but we can't help but be disappointed by the lack of EDGE connectivity; as it stands, only GPRS data access is available. Available in dark gray, the V3i is the exact same size and weight as the V3, but its talk time is now rated at 3 hours, less than half of the 7 hours promised on the V3.
